A police chase ended with a crash into a home early Thursday morning.
Wichita police tried to stop a stolen car around 2 a.m., near 31st and Broadway, but the driver didn’t stop. A chase ended with a crash into a home near Pawnee and Washington. The driver of the stolen car reportedly hit another WPD vehicle, leaving the officer and suspect with minor injuries. Nobody in the home was hurt. The injured officer was taken to a hospital to get checked out and has since been released.
The driver of the stolen car was arrested after running away on foot.
