Police are investigating a fatal shooting in northwest Wichita.

This was reported around 1 a.m. Wednesday, at a home near 24th and Hoover. One person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, where they passed away. Their name has not been made public.

Early information suggests this stemmed from a fight and that there is no danger to the public.
