A case of the COVID-19 Variant was identified in Kansas Wednesday afternoon.
An Ellis County resident was found to have the United Kingdom COVID-19 Variant.
An investigation is underway to determine how the individual became infected, and if anyone else has been exposed.
The variant has been discovered in 33 states, with the first known case being found in December.
