The Sedgwick County Health Department will not provide vaccinations for people 83 and older on Monday because of wind and rain expected in the area.
People with Monday appointments will be contacted to reschedule to Tuesday or a later date.
The Health Department will vaccinate health care workers who have appointments on Monday.
The county had booked up all of the appointments for people 83 and older, and no new appointments will be scheduled unless there are cancellations or more vaccine becomes available.
