A 21-year-old man was booked for a shooting at the Keeper of the Plains.
Police say a 19-year-old was with a friend in the north parking lot at the Keeper of the Plains, around 12:50 Thursday morning. They met with the 21-year-old and the group got into a fight, and that is when the suspect reportedly pulled out a handgun and shot the 19-year-old. The victim also had some property stolen but police didn’t say what it was.
The suspect left the area with some other people and was found Thursday evening on the Turnpike close to Cassoday.
As of Friday morning, the 19-year-old victim was still hospitalized and described as being in serious condition.
