A second man who was shot during a drug deal outside of a west Wichita apartment complex Thursday has died.
Wichita Police identify him as 19-year-old Jahbreel Rounds. Rounds died Monday at the hospital where he had been in critical condition since the shooting that happened around 5 p.m. near 13th and West Street.
21-year-old Ernest Jefferson died at the scene. Police arrested an 18-year-old man after he showed up at a hospital with a minor gunshot wound and later arrested a 20-year-old woman who was his accomplice, at an apartment in the 1700 block of South Green.
Both are jailed on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated battery. Those charges will be amended to also include the murder of Rounds.
KFDI News is not identifying the suspects until they are formally charged.
