Sedgwick County health officials are reporting a new cluster of five COVID-19 cases at a west Wichita car dealership.
In a joint release with Mel Hambleton Ford of Wichita, the county health department said the cluster was confirmed at the Hambleton dealership at 11,625 West Kellogg. There is concern that a number of people in the general population may have been exposed to a staff member with the virus.
The Health Department is asking that anyone who visited the dealership on Friday, April 17th between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. or on Monday, April 20th between 8 a.m. and noon should contact health officials. They should call 316-660-7300 or the United Way 211 information line. Health officials will ask a series of questions to determine if someone has been in close contact with the employee. All close contacts can be swabbed and tested for COVID-19 at no charge.
