Health officials saying there are now 242 cases of the novel Coronavirus in Sedgwick County.
One additional death is also being reported. The individual was a resident of the Clearwater Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where a COVID-19 Cluster is currently being monitored.
There are 13 confirmed cases of the virus at the Clearwater facility, and staff are working to prevent the spread of the disease under the advisement of the KDHE and Sedgwick County Health Department. All residents at the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center have been tested for the virus.
This is the fourth death in Sedgwick County from COVID-19.
