Wichita State University’s College of Engineering, GoCreate and the Wichita Police Department have partnered to produce face shields for first responders.

The face shields are being made using 3D printing technology.  Wichita Police Sergeant Teddy Wisley, a WSU graduate started the project and was put in touch with Nathan Smith, with the College of Engineering’s Project Innovation Hub.

Together they have so far produced 30 face shields, and will be producing more.  If you would like to help fund the project, click here for their GoFundMe page.
