Delta Airlines got the top spot in this year’s Airline Quality Rating. The rating for 2019 covers the 2018 calendar year and includes data from four categories: On-time performance, lost baggage, involuntary denied boardings, and consumer complaints.
The rating is issued each year as a collaboration between Wichita State University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott, Arizona campus.
Wichita State reports this year’s rating shows the lowest rate of bumped passengers, the lowest rate of mishandled baggage, and the lowest rate of customer complaints for the entire industry since the rating began in 1991.
