A small airplane made an emergency landing on a west Wichita street Friday evening, and the pilot ended up with minor injuries.
The plane landed around 6:55 p.m. near Tracy and Towne West Drive, near the Towne West Square shopping center. It was a single-engine, fixed-wing aircraft registered to an owner in Emporia.
