Firefighters were called to a west Wichita business Thursday morning on a report of a hazardous material situation.
A hazardous vapor was reported around 8 a.m. in a manufacturing facility in the 1800 block of West 2nd. It was reported that chemicals were mixed in the wrong containers. Employees were evacuated and a portion of 3rd Street at Glenn was blocked while crews responded. There were no injuries and all employees were accounted for.
Officials on the scene said there was no threat to the public.
