A Free Little Library was unveiled Friday at Urban Preparatory Academy in Northeast Wichita by Storytime Village.
It’s the first in a series of libraries that will be installed in the area.
Each library contains several books that are free to take and keep, and community members are encouraged to donate books. The goal is to promote childhood literacy, community engagement, and encourage reading by providing easy access for students and families.
Through its partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Storytime Village plans to install more little free libraries across Wichita and in four other towns across Kansas.
