Officials with the Wichita Fire Department confirmed divers recovered the body of a man who was reported missing around 4 p.m. Thursday.
The search lasted more than four hours in a small lake near Lakeside Landing, a mobile home park in the 2600 block of South West St. (near Pawnee and West).
Officials said the response transitioned from a search-and-rescue response to a recovery effort after about 2 hours, with divers searching the lake at depths around 40 feet.
The man has now been identified as 22-year-old Kyler Rutherford of Wichita.
