Two people were found dead in a northwest Wichita home Friday morning, and police believe the case is a murder-suicide.
Officers were called to a home in the 4800 block of North Portwest, near 53rd and Meridian, around 6:20 a.m. They found the body of 80-year-old Margaret O’Neil on the kitchen floor. She had been shot several times.
In another part of the home, officers found Margaret’s son, 57-year-old Michael O’Neil, with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
