The Kansas Highway Patrol said an Iowa man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on the Kansas Turnpike in Butler County.
The incident was reported around 7 p.m. Monday in the southbound lanes of the Turnpike near mile marker 80. A vehicle had stopped on the shoulder and 31-year-old Eduardo Garcia Guzman of New London, Iowa, was picking up warning markers behind the vehicle. He was struck by a semi and killed.
The semi did not stop immediately but the KHP had information on the semi and the driver.
