Emergency crews were called to a report of a near-drowning that happened at a rural home near Derby.
A one-and-a-half-year-old girl was in critical condition after the incident in the 8900 block of South Greenwich Road. Crews were sent to the area just after noon Friday. The girl apparently fell into a backyard pool, and an adult performed CPR until EMS crews could get to the scene.
