There was a heavy fire department response to a building fire in south Wichita Monday night.
The fire was reported around 9:30, at a building near Broadway and Lincoln. Other fires had been reported at the building earlier this year. Crews eventually got the fire under control with no reports of injury. Investigators are working to find how this latest fire started.
Several fires in the same area this year have been tied to squatters staying in vacant buildings.
