A man was seriously injured Saturday morning in a south Wichita crash.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 2900 block S. Oliver Ave. Police said the driver was heading southbound on Oliver when his vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and ran into a tree.
The driver was reportedly pinned inside his vehicle afterward, and the Wichita Fire Department removed one of the car doors to get inside.
Officials with the Wichita Police Department said the man was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
