A man was rushed to a hospital in extremely critical condition after a near-drowning at a Wichita apartment complex.
The incident was reported around 4:35 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex in the 3800 block of E. 16th St. N, just south of Wichita State University.
The man was found unresponsive in the complex’s pool area. WPD officials said early investigations indicated the incident was accidental.
As of 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, there has been no update on the man’s condition and no further details have been released.
