The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash from Sunday evening.
The crash was reported around 7:22 p.m. in the 5500 block of North Hesston Road, between Newton and Hesston. It was learned that a woman left the road for an unknown reason and went into a ditch on the north side of the road. Her car rolled several times before stopping. Life saving measures were attempted but the woman died at the scene. There were no passengers with her and no other cars were involved. She was identified as 35-year-old Traci Slater of Hesston.
The crash remains under investigation.
