A Wichita man suffered serious injuries after crashing his car during a police pursuit.
Officials with the Sedgwick County Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 11:40 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of East Zimmerly St.
The 34-year-old driver was fleeing from Wichita police when he ran his car into a utility pole and guardrail.
The man was transported to a Wichita hospital after the crash.
