Governor Kelly announced that Kansas has attracted more than $16 billion in private sector investment since 2019, which has resulted in roughly 57,000 jobs created or retained.
In a press release issued Monday, Kelly says that Kansas has already generated more than $1.2 billion in private sector investment in 2023. Kelly noted that in both 2022 and 2021, Kansas ranked first in the nation in private investment per capita.
The Department of Commerce has recorded 910 economic development ventures since January 2019.
