Tanganyika Wildlife Park is celebrating the birth of two litters of cheetah cubs.

Tanganyika has been playing an active role in conservation through its breeding efforts. This has resulted in the birth of 40 cheetah cubs since 2008, which helps increase the genetic diversity among captive cheetahs.

Park officials say their breeding work has faced challenged, but dedicated staff worked hard to ensure successful litters. This included building a state-of-the-art cheetah facility, monitoring hormonal cycles and creating a simulated natural breeding environment.
