The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory that was issued for the City of Kingman public water supply system in Kingman County.
The advisory was issued on Friday, May 12th because of untreated water from an unauthorized connection potentially entering the distribution system.
Lab tests showed no evidence of contamination and the KDHE is now saying the issue has been resolved.
For consumer questions, contact the water system at: 620-532-3111 or you may call KDHE at 785-296-5514. More info is available at KDHE’s PWS Consumer Information webpage here.
