Charges filed against three men in fatal east Wichita shooting

Three Wichita men are charged with first degree murder for a fatal shooting that happened in east Wichita.

The three men, 41-year-old Shaun O’Brien, 47-year-old Adonis Andrews, and 48-year-old Jorge Romero, appeared in court Wednesday to face charges.  Their bonds were set at $250,000 each.

The three are accused in the April 29th shooting death of 36-year-old Christian Santiago of Wichita.  Officers found his body in an SUV in the 2800 block of East Stadium.   Police said the victim and suspects knew each other, but there has been no information released on a motive.

Police have two more men in custody for a fatal shooting that happened in east Wichita.

A 48-year-old Wichita man was arrested Tuesday in the 1200 block of West Casado, and he was booked on a charge of first degree murder.   A 41-year-old man has also been booked on a first degree murder charge.     A 47-year-old man was arrested earlier and booked for first degree murder and charges involving weapons and drugs.

Police were called to the 2800 block of East Stadium early on April 29th and they found the body of 36-year-old Christian Santiago of Wichita.  He was in the front passenger seat of an SUV.

Police said the victim and suspects knew each other, but there’s no official word on a motive.
