A Wichita man has been charged in connection with a standoff that followed a disturbance at a west side home.
20-year-old Markel Henderson is charged with three counts of aggravated assault, two counts of criminal threat, and a misdemeanor count of battery. His bond was set at $50,000 and attorneys will talk about the case on May 1st.
Henderson was arrested after a two-and-a-half-hour standoff on April 16th at a home in the 7000 block of West Freeman. Police said several people were threatened with a gun and a SWAT team was called to the home. Henderson later walked out of the home and was taken into custody.
