Court documents released on Tuesday revealed more details in the death of a 1-year-old boy last July, resulting in his father’s arrest.
Jordan Lien was charged with first degree murder in the death of his son, Lucca Lien, at a Wichita motel.
The court documents said that Lucca died of fentanyl poisoning while in his father’s care, which was confirmed by an autopsy that also revealed the child tested positive for cocaine.
Jordan Lien reportedly died March 9th, 2023, according to an obituary.
A probable cause affidavit revealed cell phone data in which Jordan messaged someone two days before Lucca’s death asking for a pill that often contains fentanyl. Tests of drug paraphernalia in Jordan’s hotel room also found meth.
