Crews were called to a house fire in south Wichita Friday afternoon, and one person was reported to have serious injuries.
The fire broke out shortly after 5 p.m. in the 800 block of West Mt. Vernon. Crews reported smoke and flames coming from the home when they arrived.
A girl around ten years of age was taken to a hospital with burn injuries. No other details have been released.
