A Hutchinson woman was transferred to Wichita after being hit by a car early Monday.
Hutchinson police said the woman was walking south on the Woodie Seat Freeway near Avenue F when she was hit by a southbound car around 7 a.m. She was taken to a Hutchinson hospital and later transferred to Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. There was no word on her condition.
Police were talking to the 55-year-old man who was driving the car, and the incident is still under investigation.
