Integra Technologies has announced the location for a new 1-million-square-foot headquarters that will be constructed in Sedgwick County. The building will be constructed at the southeast corner of Kansas Highway 254 and Rock Road in Bel Aire. The site will have to be approved by the Bel Aire City Council.
Kansas Governor Laura Kelly announced in early February that Integra will invest $1.8 billion in the development of a semiconductor plant, creating more than 2,500 new jobs. The governor said this will be the second largest economic development project in Kansas history.
Integra plans to apply for federal funding under the CHIPS program for the new facility.
