A Topeka woman has been arrested in connection with a homicide in southeast Kansas.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said a 41-year-old woman was arrested near Iola, in Allen County on Monday evening. She was booked into the Neosho County jail.
The woman is a suspect in the shooting death of 34-year-old Blake Pearson of Topeka. He was found in an alley in Chanute on the morning of July 25th. No details have been released on the killing.
The woman was also arrested on charges from a separate, unrelated incident that happened in Chanute on July 6th. She was booked into jail on suspicion of first degree murder and the Neosho County Attorney will prosecute the case.
