An investigation is ongoing after people hurt in a Cowley County shooting were found in Oklahoma.
Four victims were found in parking lot of the 7 Clans Casino, in Newkirk, OK, on May 3. Two people were taken to a hospital in Ponca City, while two others were taken to a hospital in Wichita.
The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office investigated with Arkansas City Police Department, Kansas Highway Patrol, Kay County Sheriff’s Office, Otoe Missouri Tribal Police and the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation. They found the shooting happened in rural Cowley County. No more details have been released so far.
