Police said a 26-year-old Wichita man was killed late Saturday when his pickup went out of control and flipped over at a north side railroad crossing.
The crash was reported shortly after 10 p.m. in the 2900 block of North Broadway. Officers found David Fuentes lying in the street, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said Fuentes was driving north on Broadway when he lost control, and the truck hit railroad tracks, causing it to flip over. Fuentes was thrown from the pickup.
Police are continuing the investigation and they believe speed was a factor in the crash.
