Police have arrested a 63-year-old man after a shooting at a northeast Wichita home.

Police said a 45-year-old man went to a hospital around 8:50 p.m. Saturday with a gunshot wound to his arm.  Officers found that an argument had taken place at a home in the 2400 block of North Beacon Hill, in a neighborhood near 21st Street North and Oliver.    The victim and his 44-year-old girlfriend were leaving in her car when shots were fired, striking the car and the victim.   Officers later found the gunman and arrested him on charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and criminal damage to property.

Information will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office for a decision on charges to be filed.
