Disney released the teaser trailer for its upcoming AI-themed, sci-fi epic, Tron: Ares, with the film’s star Jared Leto posting on social media: “The Teaser Trailer for Tron: Ares. This October, worlds will collide. Only in theaters 10.10.25”
Tron: Ares is the long-awaited sequel to 2010’s Tron: Legacy, and the 90-second preview features Leto “who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings,” per the logline. Jeff Bridges, who starred as Kevin Flynn in the original 1982 film, says in the voiceover: “Ready? Because there’s no going back.”
Directed by Joachim Rønning, the movie also stars Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson.
