The City of Wichita has shut off water service to three businesses at the Towne West Square shopping center because of failure to pay the water bill.
The water service was restored later in the day after city officials contacted the property manager and learned that payment was being sent. Several more businesses could be disconnected next week.
Towne West has also had issues with electric power, with Evergy disconnecting some businesses on two occasions during the past year. Those issues were resolved and power was restored.
