Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Marion County.
The crash was reported around 11:20 a.m. in a construction zone on U.S. Highway 56/77 near 250th Road, northeast of Marion. Kansas Highway Patrol troopers said a passenger car rear-ended a semi, and the two people in the car were killed. The Patrol identified the driver of the car as 43-year-old Jessica Henson of Wamego. Her unidentified juvenile passenger was also killed in the crash. The semi driver was not hurt.
