Emporia police search ESU fraternity in drug investigation

A fraternity at Emporia State University is part of a drug investigation. Emporia police began an investigation on November 4th into the sale of controlled substances leading to the arrest of a 20-year-old man on Tuesday.

Police said they purchased cocaine, marijuana and LSD from the man.  Detectives and officers also conducted a search warrant at the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity on Sylvan Street and recovered more cocaine, marijuana and LSD along with a firearm.

The man was booked into the Lyon County Jail.
