A crash on the Kansas Turnpike left one person with critical injuries and backed up traffic in northern Butler County.
A one-vehicle crash was reported around 3 p.m. Wednesday at mile marker 100 near Cassoday. The Kansas Highway Patrol said a northbound car went off the roadway and rolled several times. The driver, a 56-year-old Wichita woman, was flown to a Wichita hospital.
The crash closed northbound and southbound traffic for about two hours. One lane of southbound traffic was still closed late in the afternoon.
