Charges have been amended against an El Dorado man after the victim in an October 8th road rage incident died in a hospital.
A charge of first degree murder has now been filed against 23-year-old Ashton Jay McCoy. He was arrested on the afternoon of October 8th when El Dorado police were called to a report of an assault at the Jump Start convenience store at 1631 West Central. The victim, 74-year-old Alton Kent Algrim of Leon, was hospitalized with injuries and he later died in a Wichita hospital.
Police said the assault was the result of a road rage incident that took place at the convenience store.
