The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man whose body was found at East Park.
The body of 31-year-old Tyler Lee Ford of Hutchinson was found Sunday by passersby in the Sunset Ridge area of East Park, west of North East Lake Road and north of Northeast 12th Street. The body was found in a dried-out section of the lake bed.
Ford’s death is being investigated as a homicide, and he is believed to have died within the past week. An autopsy found that he died of a gunshot wound.
The investigation is continuing and no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office.
