The City of Wichita has closed entrances to a walking and biking trail because of damage caused by a fire.
The entrances to the Red Bud Trail on Woodlawn and Rock Road have been closed until further notice. A fire was set inside two culverts, collapsing part of the path.
Staff members are working to determine the cost of repairs and a timeline for getting that work done, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
