UPDATE: Officials at Horace Mann Dual Language Magnet School said in a social media post that air conditioning problems have been fixed and classes will be held again on Wednesday, August 23rd.
Wichita’s Horace Mann Dual Language Magnet school is closed today due to the heat.
The school’s air conditioning started having issues Monday, and classes have been cancelled until repairs could be made. Work is expected to be done in time for classes to resume Wednesday. Parents should be getting an update later today through their email.
