Crews in Winfield are working to restore power and remove debris after strong storms moved through Friday and Saturday.
As of noon Monday, city officials estimated that around 600 customers were still without electricity, with most main circuits restored. There was an area north of US-160, along 21st, with line damage that prevented power from being restored right away.
As of this morning, crews have been making the first of several passes through the city to clean up tree limbs and other storm debris.
The city plans daily updates at noon at 4 pm as recovery work continues.
