A man and woman are expected to be OK after they were shot Sunday night.
Wichita police got a report of the shooting around 9:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Emporia. Officers found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left upper leg. A 32-year-old woman had a gunshot wound to her right upper leg and right upper arm. They were taken to a hospital in serious condition, and they were reported to be stable on Monday.
Officials said the two had been involved in a fight with the shooting suspect a couple weeks earlier, and that another fight with the person had happened Sunday night leading up to the shooting.
Investigators have a good idea of who the suspect is and they’re working to find him. Officials did not say what the three people had been fighting about.
