Wichita Police are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a 35-year-old man.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 47th Street S and Broadway around 1:15 a.m. early Saturday morning. There they learned a local restaurant had called 911 after a man walked into the business bleeding from his arm. The man reportedly left before the officers’ arrival.
Just before 2:10 a.m., police learned that a 35-year-old man arrived at a Derby hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his right arm.
The investigation revealed that the victim was walking south on Broadway on the east side of the road when an unknown suspect shot at him.
