A Wichita man was arrested early Wednesday when police caught him taking catalytic converters from vehicles at a west side car dealership.
A witness called 911 around 5 a.m. to report hearing the sound of a metal cutting tool in the 100 block of North West Street. Officers went to the Super Car Guys lot and they found a 32-year-old man with three converters that had been taken from vehicles.
The man was arrested and booked into jail.
