An unidentified man and woman were killed when their motorcycle went off a Reno County roadway and hit a highway sign.
The crash was reported around 9:30 p.m. Monday at Kansas Highway 61 and Herren Road, northeast of Partridge. Deputies said a motorcycle was going north on K-61 and went off the roadway at Herren Road. The motorcycle hit a highway sign and both riders were thrown off.
The names of the victims have not been released. Deputies are still investigating but it’s believed that speed was a factor in the crash.
