UPDATE:  Wichita police have identified the man who died Tuesday when a bulldozer overturned into a lake at a construction site.   52-year-old Mike Unruh of Moundridge was pronounced dead at the scene after the accident near 41st Street North and Meridian.


Rescue crews were called to a construction site in a northwest Wichita neighborhood late Tuesday morning after a bulldozer overturned at a lake and ended up submerged in about 20 feet of water.

The accident was reported just before 11 a.m. in the 2800 block of West Keywest Court, in an area near 41st Street North and Meridian.

The driver of the bulldozer was reported to be pinned under the vehicle, and crews sent rescue boats and divers to the scene.   The driver was recovered during the noon hour and he was pronounced dead.   His name has not been released.
